Betsy Guralnik Maymon has been creating art for as long as she can remember. From a young age, she found joy in color and creativity—nothing delighted her more than receiving a new box of crayons, the bigger the set, the better! She went on to study art and design at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), laying the foundation for a successful career in graphic design. Over the years, she has worked in small design firms, corporate marketing departments, and later founded her own company, B Maymon Design.

Throughout her design career, Betsy continued to paint, nurturing her passion alongside her professional work. Today, she has transitioned to painting full-time, focusing on small and large-scale acrylic and mixed-media works. Her abstract style serves as a powerful outlet for exploring and expressing her emotional and spiritual life—a visual language that helps her navigate a world often marked by chaos and distraction. Through lush color, bold natural forms, and whimsical mark-making, her work invites viewers into a deeply personal yet universally resonant experience.
